Living
Resources, LLC, was founded in 2000 to provide safe, quality programs
for people with developmental challenges based in Sweetwater Texas
and further serving the West Texas area. Our philosophy is to approach
each person served as if they were a part of our own family. We believe
that God owns everything and that we are stewards of His resources.
Therefore, we seek His guidance when considering the needs of each
person requesting services from our organization and in the selection
of employees who serve in our organization. We are licensed and certified
by the State of Texas and the Department of Labor to provide residential,
vocational, and day habilitation services. Living Resources LLC as
a sister company of Hill Resources Inc.
- We
offer small-group home settings with 24-hour care staff. These homes
are located in safe, quality, residential neighborhoods. Some private
rooms are available. Our homes are maintained with the highest standards
and offer a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- We
provide both Home and Community Support (HCS Waiver programs) and
Intermediate Care Facilities for persons with Mental Retardation
(ICF/MR). These programs allows to provide the individuals we serve
with a variety of options such as: assisted living, supportive home
living, case management, respite care, nursing, small residential
group homes and foster care services
- Medical,
psychological, and financial services are available.
- We
assure that nursing and medical services are available 24 hours
a day as needed.
- We
provide access to top psychiatric and psychological services in
West Texas. Our team Psychological Associate, Jeanene Strickland,
has over 25 years of experience working with developmentally disabled
individuals.
- Our
clients are offered assistance with setting up and managing a trust
fund and/or personal checking account, which are monitored by a
CPA firm and the Texas Department of Aging and Disability.
- Our
clients and are assisted with managing their Medicaid/Medicare benefits.
Living
Resources has priority access to vocational/day habilitation services
of Culpepper Creek Farms and Culpeppers which are located in Abilene
TX.
